Sam Thiara

Sam Thiara is a professional who has created a personal journey as a coach, speaker, author, workshop facilitator, educator and entrepreneur.  His goal is to support others in their personal brand awareness and professional development and was recognized by the Governor General of Canada with the Canadian Sovereign’s Volunteer Medal and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

An accomplished speaker and storyteller.  Sam enjoys sharing stories with his audiences.  Whether it is for professional development or personal enjoyment, Sam can captivate his audience with his life adventures.

Presently, Sam is a lecturer at the Beedie School of Business and Fraser International College.   His work is also reflected in the hundreds he has mentored and the thousands he has engaged.  Sam is currently working on numerous projects.  He bring various industry experiences in community relations and work with 45+ non-profits.

Sam wrote a book on personal storytelling that emerged out of his TEDxSFU talk on discovering the extraordinary out of the ordinary.  He lives by the quote, “Everyone’s life is an autobiography, but make yours worth reading.
