Nohémie Mawaka

Nohémie Mawaka is a global health strategist, also a master of Public Health graduate from Simon Fraser University. She has extensive experience in global disease epidemiology (qualitative/quantitative research) while working for the World Health Organization and University of Witwatersrand (WITS), stakeholder and community-based engagement. With a keen-eye for healthcare systems-thinking and innovation, Nohémie holds years of experience in non-profit program management,monitoring, and evaluation with vulnerable populations. Ms. Mawaka is founder of Stats Congo, a startup that aims to help Congolese hospitals go paperless through the use of technology and sound data collection, starting with the Bukavu and Kinshasa region in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
