Courtney Price hails from California, USA. She is a fiery advocate for women’s empowerment, critical community-led global development, and dynamic storytelling. While studying abroad in Accra, Ghana, Courtney conducted a research project on stigma and discrimination with the LGBTQ+ community and coordinated a youth empowerment program. She worked on a sustainable farm project in Kisumu, Kenya as a global advocate with Mama Hope and community partner OLPS. For the last few years, she has worked with the phenomenal women of Lake Region Community Development Initiative in Karachuonyo, Kenya on WASH trainings, economic strengthening activities, and girls’ sexual and reproductive health education. She loves using dance parties and comedy to tackle problems and bring people together. She also enjoys reading and traveling. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis.
